Annual Synar Report

The Department administers the federal Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant. As a condition for receipt of SAPT Block Grant funding, each state must report annually on efforts to enforce their state laws prohibiting the sale or distribution of tobacco products to individuals under the age of eighteen (Annual Synar Report).

Rhode Island’s 2018 Annual Synar Report will be submitted to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration by 12/31/17. The Department invites you to read and comment on the Report. Comments may be directed to Maureen Mulligan at Maureen.Mulligan@bhddh.ri.gov..

Annual PATH Application

Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) is a formula grant awarded to states which funds programs for people with serious mental illness who are experiencing homelessness. The annual PATH application was submitted to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration on July 5, 2017. The Department invites you to read and comment on the application.
